So, I want to make an army that is mainly female, and has a russian WW2 feel to them, I'm talking rabbit hats and trench coats. Any ideas?

they have models with trench coats and the fuzzy hats (vostroyan's), just have to green stuff some boobs and a female looking face.

Vostroyans are metal and expensive!
Maybe have a look at some other miniture companies to see if they have anything similar to what your looking for since GW female models look terrible!

Make a Vahallan 597th army, lead by Commissar Ciaphas Cain, Hero of the Imperium!

I don't know the best source of bodies, but I know that Hasslefree Miniatures sells sprues of 5 female heads for 3 pounds, that you could add hair and hats to.

If you're looking for Russian style helmets without having to deal with faces you could look at the heads Pig Iron Productions do with those silly hats.
