Bikers screen the Wagons. The Bikers will be multi-assaulting turn 2, usually, and causing general dismay. The Wagons crump tanks and deliver boyz to objectives. Thoughts?

Are bikes big enough to screen wagons?
|
Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in. |

That is a good question. Would they screen them? Yes. Would they obscure them? No idea. A vital point to mention would be the use of Boar Boyz and Squiggoths as Bikers and Wagons, respectively. I suppose that really changes things.

Bikes won't obscure the weapons. You need a Big Mek with KFF to give cover to them.

I'd pick up a KFF or two, just to make absolutely sure that your Wagons get the save they need.
Buzzkoptas may not be a bad idea in this list. They can take care of tanks before your Waaagh hits them.

If I pick up a KFF, I lose a lot for the list. It would change it fundamentally, because I lose the magical 11-strong Nob squad, meaning they aren't Fearless, which is important in many ways for them. Also, one squad would not be scoring.
I am not sure about the height of the pee-wee Squiggoth, but I will measure it tomorrow if I can. Remember, I only need to obscure the facing by 51% to benefit from cover. I just don't know if I can do it.

Boarding Planks have little utility, in-game. Other than that, it's all a big game of hoping your wagons don't get popped early on. The bikes are gonna be a good distraction, but still--at this level, there'll be enough armor out there to address them.
Needs a good amount of luck, in my opinion.

I dunno. I like it. Everything is a troop choice and it stomps anything into the ground on assault.
Should look awesome on the table.

Yea, I am not sure if I can manage the magical "obscured" with the Boars in front of Squiggoths. If so, it adds a lot to the list.
Also, Boarding Planks allow me to roll up and S9 PK something without getting out of the Wagon. That is useful for the times you can't destroy everything with a Rolla.
