Battle Foam has some new releases for November.
First and foremost we have released a limited edition P.A.C.K. 720 in black. Each of the 500 bags is individually numbered.
We have also released seven new High Elf Trays to fit the new Phoenix Guard, White Lions, Dragon Princes along with all of the models from the Island of Blood starter set.
We have designed trays for several of the NEW Dark Eldar models. As more models become available more trays will be created.
Last but not least we have created a Dust Tactics kit for our P.A.C.K. 432

LOVE the DE trays!!! I will be picking up some of those soon!! Although on the Raider tray, what is the big square part supposed to hold, or was it just added to be able to use the extra space?

The square is for anyone that has magnetized bits or for those who do not glue their stands to the Raiders.

I was expecting for them to make new trays for DE, but I don't get how the raiders would be suposed to fit there. I mean: in what position? Lying on a side? Standing "on foot"? :S

Oh great, thanks for the tip Then the flying bases should not be glued to the models, right? I think I'll order my first Battlefoam bag ever as soon as I see them availabe at Wayland Games ^^

I already mailed Romeo (as well as Richard from waylandgames) about thos black 720s. Id really like to pick one up if I could get it via waylandgames.
Anybody got an idea which of the existing trays is good for daemon troops (i.e. Bloodletters and Horros, I think the Plaguebearers fit just about anything).

Man those trays are nice.
I'm going to be in the minority here and actually say I like the olive drab color better for the bags, however, but the black does look slick.

The black 720 is really cool, but I already have a standard one, and that's enough for me for that size...now if you were to do a run of 432s in that color...*hint hint*

Unfortunately the black 720 only comes with a pluck foam load out or full custom load out. As far as other limited edition bags.....you never know!

I may have to check this out on Black Friday. May we assume Battlefoam is having a sale similar to the one they had last year?

Wow. So going to be picking up some of those trays for my DE.
Could I ask what the L/W/D dimensions are for the infantry trays for the Dark Eldar, or can that be found on site?

Yes! Too bad it needs to be 6 inches tall. If you take another tray adapted for Ravagers, you have filled a pack 720. We might need a 1520 to carry a standard army :\ Automatically Appended Next Post: Fateweaver wrote:Wow. So going to be picking up some of those trays for my DE.

The dimensions of each tray are available on the web itself:

Yep, asked before doing the research myself.
I need to go measure up some Tupperware storage bins. Not as convenient as a "bag" but will still keep all my army in one carrying case, can fit into my car on the backseat or seat next to me and a lot cheaper than a carrying case.

I found the site a little difficult to navigate and get the correct trays so eventually gave up.
The custom creator is really good but doesnt have enough options. It would be nice if it also helped you work out the depth required for a tray. For example, if I chose a Space Marine tank, it would change the depth of the tray to 5" or whatever it should be.
As an Eldar painter, it would be nice to see more choices for such an army in the custom creator as well.
Couldnt be bothered creating my own templates with a pen and paper.
I like the bag. Mmm black. Might make me try again? Maybe.

The trays are arranged according to army under Battle Foam trays. As far as options go, what options are you looking for on there? And the reason that we ask that you set the size on your own trays is because we do not know exactly what you have. I personally have nobody sticking out the top hatches of my Rhino, where someone else might have a space marine manning a storm bolter. And if you forget to set the height of the tray we will contact you, we are not going to send out a 1" tray with Land Raider cut outs on it.

Yeah, but that's true now. Given the same army size, my Dark Eldar take up more space than any of my other armies, by a lot actually. I'm able to get two of the old Raiders into a Sabol 4" so to fit six I would need 12" of foam. This fits five in 6", that's still way better.

I wonder if removable flight stand and magnetized sail and crew could make a 4" tray feasible as a custom cut.

The best thing to do would be to measure the model with out the stand and sail once you have it built. Our model was built with the stand and sail. I dont see why it wouldnt fit in a 4" tray but I would measure to make sure.

I would certainly hope that they are doing the annual discount event! After the loyalists have helped to make battlefoam the huge business the new videos seem to suggest it would be good to still get something back
However if memory serves me in previous years Romeo would already be plugging this. It is now only a week away! Please let us know Romeo as if you are I will make you a personal gaurantee that I will order a 1520xl with x board and two 720s! That is like a mini shop order lol. I should get the discount on an order like that even if you aren't doing the event (especially considering I already own a pack max, 720 and a 432)!
Keep up the great work!
