Has anyone any idea if there's an Eldar Autarch figure? Or is that a gauntlet hitting the ground I just heard?

Yes there are a few, but if you wanted to convert one the existence of them doesn't stop you.

That, or we're going to have something not too dissimilar to the "Calgard" event.

I hope this is a gauntlet, and that there will be some sweet-ass conversion!

Here's the pics, btw, in case you don't want to follow a link.

Happy converting.

Did you even look at the GW website? Or are you talking about a toy size figure?

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.

I admit my inclination is to convert...I want to place my IRL wife (or rather an idealized Eldar form of her) in command of my battle-troupe.

Just for completeness, there was a third limited release Autarch on foot included in the big army deal box. And Yriel is also an autarch.

yeah, autarchs always struck me as something which demanded you to take a $2 guardian and convert it. Not only would it look awesome and unique (like it should), but it would also save you a half a box of guardians in cost.

Your one-stop website for batreps, articles, and assorted goodies about the men of Folera: Foleran First Imperial Archives. Read Dakka's favorite narrative battle report series The Hand of the King. Also, check out my commission work, and my terrain.

Abstract Principles of 40k: Why game imbalance and list tailoring is good, and why tournaments are an absurd farce.

Read "The Geomides Affair", now on sale! No bolter porn. Not another inquisitor story. A book written by a dakkanought for dakkanoughts!

I believe a female Autarch should be an Autarka...and her name will be Bronwyn Flametress!

I think it would be cool to take a sword arm from a howling banshee, gun arm from a fire dragon, avenger legs, guardian torso, scorpion head, and hawk wings. All mishmash frankenstein style into an Autarch from all of its component aspects (plus the Guardian bit to represent the craftworld). If I had the extra bits I would make a lot of wierd autarch models with every concievable weapon variation modelled with the body part (and paint scheme) of a different aspect represented. Alas I don't have spare bits.

What would Yeenoghu do?

The mounted one has to be my favorite.

I always thought it would be cool to make an Autuarch themed for each of the aspect shrines as if they where paying homage to the first shrine they joined. They would mostly use the High Elf bits mixed with Eldar.

You can also build one from the Dire Avengers.

I have two of the 5 Autarchs they made; the limited edition and the one with Mandiblasters in the helmet. Both now have Dire Avenger arms.
