Earlier this month, on November 4th, I had worked out a deal with mike_houghton98. He agreed to sell me his 5 sets of NOS TH/SS (10 pieces total) and 5 pairs of Lightning Claws (10 pieces total), in the amount of $25 (shipping included). Payment was sent the next day via Paypal. I asked him that same day to send me the tracking information for the bitz I bought.

Nine days pass, and I finally hear from him on this past Friday, November 12, at around 11:00 am. He sends me a tracking number, which I presume to be from usps. I check the number then, and it comes back as invalid. I check again that night, thinking that he may have just printed out the label and not shipped it into the mail yet, and it came back invalid again. I then PM him that same night, informing him of the invalidity of the tracking number. No response.

Last night, I check the number one last time, and again it came back as invalid. I then thought it may have been shipped via ups instead, but to no avail, the number is still invalid.

For the time it took him to get back to me this past Friday, I thought that perhaps he spends most of his time during the weekdays offline or at least offsite from Dakka, so I thought I'd wait until the weekend had passed to see how he would respond. Then I noticed his recent activity, and saw that he had post on the website quite a few times this past weekend.

Dude, no offense, but if you've got time to post 2 updates on your sales thread, between Friday and Sunday, then you have time to respond to my PM.

I have every PM saved as well, starting with the initial contact I made to him on November 4, until now. And if anyone has had any experience dealing with this person in the past, and would like to share their insight, please do.

The tracking number is missing a digit (usually it's 16 digits long, the number you posted is 15). Also, while yes, he's had time to update his thread, not everyone checks/responds to PMs as regularly (not passing judgement on whether or not one _should_, just commenting that people sometimes don't).


All in all, only 11 days have transpired since beginning of the transaction and now, have a bit more patience as life does at times get in the way of things.

Fair point. I had considered waiting until midweek to post this, but when I saw that he had updated his personal thread without considering my PM, it didn't sit well with me. Normally, I am considerably patient, but something about this didn't add up right to me.
