I just wanted to introduce myself a little. I have been lurking the forums for a while now. I started wargaming some years ago but I didn't play anything, nor had I a large collection. I bought some random fantasy battles models, some which I just blasted with an air gun and some which was lost in other violent events. However, some years later my friends started playing and I bought and painted some Dark Elves (around 1500 points or so). These I gave away to a friend when I began studying, but now I am back with almost 1000 points of Ultra Marines and some newly bought Empire.
I am still studying to become a teacher and I am a family man, married and the proud father of a son (1 year old). Our second child is on its way and I have a local gaming group to play with. My friend who first got me introduced to Warhammer is in it and it was a happy reunion to see him once again. Things are looking great and I hope to contribute a tiny percentage of what I am taking part of in this wonderful community.
