Yeah...add in the fact that I doubt the Suits can beat the serpent.
You have the deepstrike turn to fire, do not get the melta bonus, and are firing at a AV12 target with 4+ cover.
If/when you fail the Serpent will jump away.

I do get the melta bonus, unless I scatter away (and I'll just say they're two units to minimalize the chances), and the rear armor is 10, with no cover, correct?

According the the 40k rulebook, the front armor is 2

Anyways, the LR wasn't said before, and the Crisis Suits are completely different.

.17 glance

.36 wrecked. Not bad odds.

Also, wth would a fast skimmer ever show rear armour to a derp striking unit, and for the cover, there is a thing called flat out.

It's more like 3/4 shots hits, 1/3 of the hits pen , 1/6 glance. Half of those is ignored by cover.

You can maybe maybe get a result.
