I'm super happy with the gold, and the OSL was an interesting thing to try out. I don't think I'd do it for every model, but it's pretty fun! Next up are a rhino and a Warsmith.

Tell me, are you using stock chaos torsos, or did you order the GWS Iron Warrior upgrade kit with torsos (and inexplicably, a lascannon)?

Also, are you removing the Eye of Terra/Horus from the armor, if present?

You seem to have captured a really nice and clean contrast between the gold and silver areas on the models and hazard stripes are all ways cool. I am currently painting some IW Obliterators for my WB army and will be most pleased if they turn out as well as yours.

What other chapter can you get away with building Ork sized guns for and its OK?

Those are the torsos and heads from the Iron Warriors upgrade pack, yes. I've got the lascannons lying around and have absolutely no use for them as of now. I don't have any eyes of Horus on any models but the Terminators, and I left them on there because they looked fun to paint! Glad you're enjoying my Marines

The gold is Tin Bitz > Shining Gold > Gryphonne Sepia in the recesses > Burnished Gold on the edges and studs. 'Eavy Metal does it pretty much the same, just with Mithril as the final highlight. They're better painters than me too, but that's neither here nor there
