Hey there Dakka, I have recently decided that my Hive Fleet LV-426 scheme was quite boring, and nowhere near my painting skills, so ive started working on a new scheme with a "spare" carnifex.

C/C is much appreciated, and ill try and keep more photo updates going as i work on this army.

Its just my opinion but I never really cared for the look of green on nids in regards to their bodies or carapace... I actually like your old scheme as it reminds me of "Aliens" but I think they could use maybe a punch of red on the carapace, like a black widows markings...

The black and grey is really amazing.

I kind of like the polished black carapace, though not the skin color.

I really dont like cream colored skin, as to me, its too close to the GW nids, and i want something that is far from GWs Leviathan or Kraken hive fleets, hence why i am using the Knarloc Green colored skin... it still needs to be washed, which will darken things up some, so once its actually done, i think it will look much better.
