Are these merc captains supposed to make merc units that are generic like Steelheads and make them faction specific or are they going to be able to do character units like Sam or Boomhowler as well? That could get very, very messy...

Who knows, not much else about them is out.
To keep things simple, I'm thinking generic units, but there are so many character units that I don't think they are gonna limit them that bad.

Else, I'm thinking they are gonna be as limited as the Taskmaster from the Skorne faction...but actually a UA.../shrug, I'm not too worried only because Cryx and Skorne have nothing new yet.

From the sounds of it, I'm thinki they will definitely make Merc units friendly faction models. I'm excited(and frightened)to see what people will come up with now.

Boomhowler and his crew factioned with either Butcher or Epic Vlad makes me happy in ways that are flat wrong.

Cryx should get a UA that's like a watered down Alexia called something Necromancer.........raises undead versions of Merc units...?

Hmmm, or one can continue to wish for Bane Heavy Cavalry...

Or eMorg getting his very own Ninja Cyclops that is NOT named Molik Karn...

The Khador 'Mercenary Captain' will make the unit he joins a Character unit as he himself is a Character.
