Your highlights are a little thick in some places, like under the knee - other than that this looks really nice though. Did you use a gloss primer? It looks rather glossy. That may present some problems as paint doesn't always like to adhere to gloss. If that's the look you're going for it looks nice though.

Also, invest in a small hand drill so you can drill your barrels. It'll make the model look even better than it already does.

I think you have used all the right colors on your model. Now it should be just a matter of refining your techniques (working on the highlights, eyes, shoulder pads). Nice work

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

Lord Helmet - "I bet she gives great helmet."

How did you do the highlights, they look very very well done.

my only sudgestion for improvement would be to go to a stationary store and buy the finest marker / drawing / architects pen thingy you can find and use that for the writing on the shoulder pad.

I like it, I myself have a single black templar I did for fun a while back. The free hand isn't too bad on the shoulder but a decal would have been better. Nice highlighting/hardlining though, and the base also looks great.

Very nice work for your first one, and good choice on Black Templars.

As far as advice goes, well this is how I paint my Templar seal. Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it and its faster than putting a transfer on.
Excuse the pics over-glorification. Its from an article I made about painting BT's a few years ago.

well done.

Next time we really don't need 18 (eighteen!!!) pictures of the very same model over and over and over again.....and then one more.
