ok guys got a quick question lets say a wyche unit is in combat with a squad of boys and i get hit by just regular boys can i choose to use the 4+ dodge/invunerable save in close combat or do i have to use my regular 6+ save then FNP

Even better you can use your 4+ Invulnerable save and then your 4+ FNP as well for having a pain token!

not Can, must.
It does not say that you can use the best save available, it says that you Use the best save available.
So in CC Wyches always use their 4+ invulnerable, unless they are hit with a weapon that ignores invulnerable saves.
And then they get the 4+ FnP if they have a Pain token.

You can take invulnerable saves against just about anything, psycannons and c'tan weapons are the only things that come to mind that disallow them. So even if it is a regular attack, you can (have to) take the 4++ if it is better than your armor (it is).

As long as it's just regular attacks your Inv save + FNP is fine. Very few things ignore Inv saves so don't worry about that. What you should worry about is attacks that deny you FNP because Orks can come up with some of that. Check FNP on page 75 of the BRB for a list of nasties.
