So if there was going to be a Tau titan, what would it be like? Would it be more like Eldar? Imperial? My guess is that it would really long range, and have some kind of advanced cloaking device, but I want to hear other people's ideas.

Welcome to Dakka!

Be sure to read the forum rules, check out the Gallery for inspiration, and ask any Moderator if you have any questions or concerns.

I think your question about Tau titans would work better if you posted it as a new thread over in 40k Discussions, or possibly in 40k Proposed Rules, if you really want to work on a set of stats.

Welcome to Dakka Dakka!

And Mannahnin's given some solid advice already, so I'll just add...

If there was a Tau Titan, what would it be like?

It would be like a smoldering wreck, beneath the treads of a mighty war machine of the Imperium!

Welcome aboard!

I suppose a tau titan would need big guns, and it would probably have smooth armor mechanic, so the look would be closer to Eldar, if those were the two choices.

Also, unofficially, there's this: http://chapterhousestudios.com/webshop/component/virtuemart/?page=shop.product_details&category_id=37&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=81&vmcchk=1

If there was a Tau Titan, it would naturally look like my friend's Tau Intruder Titan. Yes, this is built with nothing else but Hammerhead/Devilfish/Skyray bitz.

Well, i guess sticking to the plot wise, the tau may a need a titan to conquer one of the imperium's more heavily defended plants to expand their empire.

Now a better reason would be that the etherials got some balls and are in the mood to kick some ass, but I digress...

But wow that is a pretty awesome titan!

I think the gundum would probably be right cuz tau is a total anime army as well.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I know the tyranids already ahve a (bio) titan, but if you ever check out the Warhammer monthly comic book #34 they have a imperial warlord titan taken control by a tyranid swarm, which is kinda cool
