Well I'm planning on buying the Lord of the Rings: Mines of Moria Boxed Set.

I simply love how the Goblins, The Cave Troll & the Ruins of Moria look like (I think I'd sell the Fellowship on Ebay).

Well I ain't really planning on playing LOTR, butto simply assemble & paint the Gobbos. Yeah I'm the kind of guy who likes painting rather then playing (or kid, I dunno which to use, since I'm a teen )

So, do you think it's worth buying the Mines of Moria Boxed Set or should I settle for something else, like a small Legion of Everblight Force (HORDES)?

Gobbos or the Legion... dang... I know that I wouldn't be able to choose.

actually maybe you can get a little of each... I'm sure there are more inexpensive ways to get some Gobbos to work on... same with Legion... just buy a unit of each or something.

Well I might get a Legion Angelius first, just to get a feel of it. And then buy a Mines of Moria boxed set.

Well Moria is a cool set,but if all you want is the goblins,just get a box of Goblins from GW,and a cave troll if you still want it.

I'd recommend against it, the value of the box compared to the minis isn't that great. The fellowship are pretty low quality compared to the metal ones. The big main rule book has a couple model entries the small one doesn't.

If you arn't planning on playing then I would not get the mines boxed set. If you need paint, look into the lotr paint set, as it has 12 gobbos.
