Here is the down low...My mom stole my gift idea of getting a hammerhead for by little bro . So i got him some vespids. Should my Blood Angels have to worry about anything???? He already has fire warriors and kroot and a devilfish and some other tau things (1000pts) but no hammerheads or vespids

I've never actually seen anyone that plays tau run vespids. So just by that I'm assuming you don't have to worry.

Depends on what you have and what he has. Your army list would be helpful. I dont know if you will be stomped by a hammerhead killing your land raiders or if you have a termicide attack waiting to deep strike towards it.

Him beating you might prove as a challenge and make the game more fun and competitive. It may make you try crazy tactics to beat him. I dont know if you will like this but its just a thought.

They will eat up any normal Assault marines coming their way, but will be utterly devastated by Sanguine Guard (who denies them armor, can chase them down, are immune to their AP3, and will make ass of their day in CC).

I have some sanguine gaurd so thats good and i dont have a very mechanized army and some Death Company

Vespids are rubbish.

If he's read from Advanced Tau Tactica, you should have a slight worry, as pulling off something astounding with Vespids is still slim with easy to follow guide lines.
