I'm thinking of creating a "counts as" Scaven army using the Dark Eldar rules.

I would use Rat Ogres as Grotesques
storm-vermin as Wracks and
various characters as Haemonculi.

Perhaps even some scratch-built vehicles as Raiders/Venoms/Void-raven Bombers.

Whoops Poisoned weapons seem particularly appropriate just now!

Clan Moulder can be the Haemonculi and their creations.

Clan Eshin can be mandrakes, Sniktch with his 3 blades can be Kheradruakh.

Plague Monks can be Wyches, with various diseases representing Combat Drugs.

Stormvermin can be Incubi. Queek can be Drazhar.

Packmasters can be... well... beastmasters.

The hellpit abomination can be a Talos.

And the Bell/Plague furnace can be a Chronos. Killing enemies and making nearby skaven stronger.

It could actually fit like a glove, depending on how much thought you put into it.

I can totally see Skaven functioning like the Dark Eldar. Go for it!

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

PDX

The only problem I see would be the lack of dynamism in the models, as Fantasy models are usually designed to be rank-and-file.

Sounds like a cool idea; go ahead and try it out. I doubt the lack of dynamism in the models would be a big problem, some simple conversions could remedy this if it's a big problem. Anyway, good luck with this project!
