I know what comes in the box, but can you make the bikes normal SM ones? I wanted to buy it to get a good amount of bikes, but I dont want DA bits.

The DA bits are on a totally separate sprue, and you do not lose any parts for the bikes if you opt not to use the DA bits.

I saw the picture on the GW Site, and thought the front of the bikes had permanent feathers on them, and the back flag was mandatory.

Yes, you can make regular bikes with them, but you won't have any special weapons like melta or plasma guns: the only special weapons you will get for them are a few power swords. However, they are the basic bike sprues with ravenwing upgrade sprues. Hope that helps, I've bought 2 and they are the best buy GW has ever come up with. As long as you want regular bikes, get the ravenwing: you'll get 6 regular bike sprues, 2 large ravenwing sprues of ravenwing upgrade parts (including the awesome cloaked bodies) and of course you will get an attack bike with multimelta and heavy bolter AND a speeder. All for $90!!

Thanks time, I know, I want to make a bike army using Space Wolf bits to give it a "Barbaric"look to them.

But I didn't want DA bits, I can buy 3 as of now, so I can't wait!

Actually its 3 upgrade sprues! i now have a F&(K load of assualt cannons.

DAs generally have the best prices to offset the fact that their codex is woefully out of date.

The battleforce also comes with like 6 power weapon too, not bad to kite out your other squads.

I got three so i now have 15 spare assult cannons 18 spare powerweapons NINE spare typhoon missile launchers and uncountable purity seals and symbols.

Thanks, thats actually pretty good, although I'm not sure if I want every Biker to have an Axe or a Sword, the Power Weapons would be shown by glowing a color.

The point of the army is to be like Barbaric Outriders, so I'm buying spacewolf bits for all of them, and probably painting them a brownish color (Any ideas are appreciated).

I'll probably sell the DA sprues but keep all the weapons for some big conversions.

Also, if anyone has any space bikes that are preferably NOS or unassembled shoot me a PM or check out my trade thread!

Not sure what's in the battle box.
But the RW Biker boxes contains lots of bits for the 3 Bikers.
The same holds for the robed DA Marines. Very nice.

Yea, I'll probably end up buying the RW Biker boxes when I need just a few bikers, I have plenty of torsos , meltas, flamers, and Plasmas so no need to get the Vanilla SM one.
