I am writing an new DIY-chapters codex,wich could be used for creating your own chapter (incl. Chapter traits,Characters,etc)
Now I need around 15 named characters to feature in the codex, so grab your chance!
What I need for every character:
-Nice fluff
-Name (deuh)
-Chapter (with some fluff,if you guys don't mind)
-Personal rule (example: furious charge)
-for captains/chapter masters rule to replace (combat tactics) rule of aramy (example:stuborn elites)
-a painted miniature/or full color image to represent it.
-be oringinal. no OP Supergodwarriorthingy
Who I need:
(can vary,first come,first serve)
-3 chapter masters
-5 captains
-2 librarians (incl. epistolary,codiciers)
-2 chaplains/reclusiarchs
-2 techmarine/ MOTF related chars)

Meh. I've done everything for all 12 of my chapters. Plus we already made a thread like this but eh. I won't go awall on you. This shall be an interesting turn of events especially having alot of chapters here on one thread.

I've created the chapter master in the past for freindly use. Will have to see if I can dig up the rules somewhere.

Chapter Tactics
If you include Calnor Alrnia then all your army lose the Combat Tactics special rule. If you include Calnor Alrnia then all your army lose the Combat Tactics special rule for Furious Charge.

*Twisting Fates- If your army includes Calnor Alrnia, half of your total infantry elite choices.

*The Sword Master- Calnor is deadly in combat espically with the blade. He may reroll all failed attempts to wound. (no reroll-rerolls!) OR

Eagle Helm (iron halo). Armor of the Crusader (artficer armor). Jump Pack. Melta Bomb, Frag and Krak Grenades. Astartes Launcher, Combi-Melta, Hell Fire Rounds, Sword of the Grand Templar (relic blade)

If you're making a DIY chapter codex, shouldn't the characters be DIY too? Asking for specific special characters seems at odds with your stated goals.

Sometimes you get lucky... Captain Varkaran is arguably one of the best shots in his Chapter due to his time spent as a Scout Sergeant and in the Chapter Sternguard before moving to the Vanguard. Frequently he is able to find the weak points in his enemies armor, when his skill is pointed out by his Brothers he often laughs blowing off there commendations as "Getting Lucky". The on built combi melta of the "Talons of Skarro" (see below) has the Rending weapon type as a result.

Strike Quickly, Strike Often Much like his predecessor Brother-Captain Jerron Letren, Captain Varkaran believes that one of the best ways for the Chapter to wage war is through rapid hit and run strikes. Members of his Company and First Company Veterans attached to it are repeatedly drilled to strike quickly and then fall back to quickly hit another target to maximize damage. Any infantry model included in an army which features Captain Varkaran gains the USR Hit and Run, but loses Combat Tactics. In addition Terminators lose Combat Tactics but do not gain Hit and Run.

Talons of Skarro: The Talons of Skarro are an ancient matched pair of Lighting Claws with a built in Combi-Melta long ago wielded by Captain Skarro of the Raven Guard a hero from the Heresy Era. This relic was passed to the Storm Kestrels after they brought the world Skarro, named in honor of the Captain the re-united it with humanity, back into the Imperial fold after Thousands of years in darkness.

Aha, I get your point.
This will be a codex for everybody who wants to make a DIY-chapter themselves. It's more of a guideline than an actual "codex"
This makes the name :"Codex: DIY-marines"
It's a bit complicated, I am not out of it myself completly.
Specific: these characters will be "templates" ,more specificly examples. it will have a "create-a-character" part included, I was mostly looking
for fluff ,to enrich the book with the hard work of all DakkaDakka's members.
