For Millennia, Mankind has fought through the universe and encountered many species of Alien...
What they only realised way later was that they could make big business.
On came the Corporations, who conquered worlds and space lanes, hiring the P.M.Cs, who in turn bought weapons from the war-companies. Aliens pitched in as well, unwilling to lose out on some good business. Soon the entire universe was at war.
This is the world that 'EVEhammer' is and inhabits.
Some players play as corporations, flying around in fleets, allying with other corporations and destroying other fleets. When they want a planet, they will hire a force from a player-controlled P.M.C, who then fight another P.M.C for control of the planet. The corporation gets the planet, the P.M.C gets paid handsomely and they go their separate ways, until they get hired again, to fight with or against their previous contractors!!
It is an idea developed by myself, inspired by the popular EVE online and Warhammer. It is designed to be played by a large number of people, wargame style, across the world, where there battle results are e-mailed in to the games-masters, who update the map. When my website is completed, the map will be ready to see.
After a year or two, the game shall end and the Corporation with the most planets will be the winning corporation. The P.M.C with the most money will be the winning P.M.C. There will be runner-ups, honourable mentions, and memorials to the terrible losers. Then we'll start it again!!!
Alternately, we could keep it going forever....
So, fellows of the DakkaDakka way, gather your armies and starfleets, be they warhammer, robogear or even LEGO men (the universe is a big place...) and start building your corporations. Rules will be on the way as a PDF download on an equally new website.

Many and varied forces in progress according to waxing & waning whims.

Type in 'Kolloss starship' to view my capital ship of my corporation, Kolloss Industrial Inc.
It's pretty shabby, but I rush jobbed it a while back, so forgive its second-hand-ness.
It is made out of a kitchen roll, with a deodorant bottle cap as its hull, some pins and W40k Chaos gun gargoyles make two side cannons. coloured pins are the windows.

Here is the pilot. Meet Mr. Greenbird hisself:

I am going to begin explaining the concepts of this to my wargames club in a couple of days, and hopefully they will agree with it and help me devise the rules.

Many and varied forces in progress according to waxing & waning whims.
