White bread, easy spread butter, vegemite.

3 slices of whatever the cheapest bread is at the time, ALOT of peanut butter, and 3 large spoonfuls of applebutter.

Usually something like this picture, although I don't have sandwiches often.

Favourite Strangest Sandwich:

Tamari soy sauce fried garlic sandwich.

Get a pan, fry off some garlic, splash in some soy sauce, slap between two pieces of buttered bread and you're done.

Other than that, I don't really have a favourite sandwich.

Two half pound burgers, four slices of crispy bacon, a thick slice of grilled ham, four slices of pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, raw red onion, lots of sweet baby ray's bbq sauce on a grilled onion bun.

I had a friend that used to eat, Nutella and Swiss Cheese sandwiches...

Man, the farts he let off after that mess were horrific.

Myself, I used to be partial to chicken, bacon, cheese and avocado on a toasted Foccacia bread with a fried egg. Although, that was back when I could get away with abusing my body. Now its wholemeal bread and tofu lattes! Bleech! Enjoy your stomachs while they last kids!

Not that I'm complaining mind you, I love a good sammich as much as the next guy...

For the sake of this thread,I'll operate on the premises that we are discussing sandwiches we make for ourselves,rather than those we purchase...in which case...

I am quite fond of spinach sandwiches...yeah yeah I know,but they're actually quite good...I cook some chopped spinach,drain,mix in a bit of mayo and some bacon bits and serve it on a toasted honey wheat roll...good stuff.

I like a good ol' BLT, even if it's turkey bacon these days (religious reasons)

Whatever is at Subway is my current favorite(s).

I also like to have a squeeze of Mayonnaise or Salad Cream next to it so I can dunk it in as I eat it. Adding it to the contents of the sandwich is a bit overkill.

Oh and no butter for me ...

Meatball sandwiches are where its at.

Ya can't go wrong with a good ole fashioned Grilled Cheese. Plain white bread, processed cheese that melts if you breathe on it, tons of butter and fried up crisp.. and a nice seamy bowl of your favorite creamy soup to dunk it in.

Chicken, crispy bacon, chillis, red pepper, tomatoes, cucumber a bit of shredded lettuce. Mustard mayo, a pieces of sliced onion if I am feeling the need all topped off with a bit of finely chopped gerkhin.

Bread would either be ciabbata or a couple of doorstop thick rounds of wholemeal.


Oh and Bergen bread is bloody fantastic when cocooning bacon and cheese.

BLT as well. So simple and so damn good. But a "cham" is way up there

Grab a taco making kit. with some mince.

Make up the taco-mince mix and bake the tacos.

When cooked smash the Tacos.

Toast some bread,

Top one half of the bread with cheese then taco mix, then crushed tacos, push down a bit, then top with cheese and the other slice of bread.

Enjoy with an ice cold lager.

Optional:
Add salsa and or extra chillis or chilli flakes for that 'need more lager!' punch

You can sub the bread for soft tortillas.

Turkey, pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo on flatbread, toasted. So simple, yet it combines together so well and practically melts in your mouth. It's so damn good that I would eat one every single day of my life if I had the option.

Take Nutella, Banana and fry then in a Panini sandwich.

Mine is a cheeder cheese, spreadable cheese, salami, bacon and reggae reggae sauce sandwhich.

Its a sandwich technically.

Bacon, Egg, and Cheese, with around 4-5 different kinds of cheeses, and my egg nice and poached. Then a lot of bacon, and some Lipitor to chase it down...

That, and the Pie is a lie. It was there one minute, and now I can't find it!
