Hey, the Adepticon guys post here, right? Not sure if I'm remembering properly.

I've been to the Team Tourney for 3 years now, had a great time every year. I've been wondering if maybe next year, or sometime in the future, you would change it so that Hybrid teams can have multiple special characters. I've had several ideas for teams not work because I need special characters from different codexes.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

Not on of TPTB, but I'd imagine that's a no-go for balance reasons.

Hybrid teams are able to plug holes in their teammates' forces, whereas in a single-codex team, all players have the same limitations and weaknesses. Allowing hybrid teams to take multiple SCs would remove any advantage (on the hard score side) for fielding a unified team (soft scores, obviously, are a separate issue altogether).

@walter

Wow your still alive? How is your friend with the guard army doing? Calvin if I remember his name.

Comparing tournament records is another form of e-peen measuring.
