Good to hear! I like the concept, but the commercials have looked a bit crap, and Nick Cage has a tendency to be in absolutely garbage over the last ~20 years. It's been a long time since Red Rock West, or Wild at Heart.

Some friends forced me to see it. I have never watched a SyFy original film on TV but now I have seen one at the theatre. If, like me, you go with a group of friends and make fun of it, there is some value.
Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.
For a good take on a somewhat similar concept, I recommend Black Death, with Sean Bean.

Spoiler:
The uncertainty regarding the actual nature of the enemy and whether there really was any 'magic' occuring was enticing.
If you're into that, which I did somewhat enjoy, I'd also recommend Solomon Kane. More obvious good/evil sides there, but still enjoyable. And it also features the late Pete Postlewaite.

I'm surpised, it was quite a simple film but it delievered what I expected it to and I enjoyed. I'd give also give it an 8/10.
I'd back up both recomendations to what solomon kane and blackdeath. Solomon kane is more of a fun film with great action but the plot of black death is better.

watched that t'other week, I thought that had quite a strong WFB/the Empire vibe to it really. Certainly bleak enough.
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Whoo, apparently I missed this thread when posting my thread. In response to it having a WFB vibe.... total lack of immediate judgment and wide brimmed hats.
