No to both one and two. Both of them are mediocre games in the RTS genre, popular mostly because for some reason Korea adopted them as their national sport.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Campaign was fun, I liked the story, and the multi-player kept me entertained for a couple months afterward.

Yea for me. Incredibly well balanced and polished RTS game. It actually has a story that you can explore which is really nice for the genre. It is more of the same from SC 1 however. No break through concepts or changes, just good ol Blizzard gaming polished to an incredible level.

Meh for me. Okay story, but for the most part massive amounts of polish to the older game but with new graphics and units.

I loved the campaign, at least. I was expecting something breakthrough, maybe a much faster-paced game...then found out it's still the same old StarCraft with a good amount of polish.

Still a Yea! for me - campaign was fantastic, and I still love playing UMS games, which Blizz has really opened up with the new editor.

This is a sum-up of the game, not just me, but everyone I know who has the game.
The single player and normal online is average, but enjoyable the first time round, you probably wont play it more than once (twice maybe for a chance to do all the missions)
But the online in the form of custom maps is mind blowing, truly amazing. Without, the game would fail. And unlike other games, you dont have to hunt round looking for half finished mods
as Blizzard endorses them, sometimes having competitions and prizes (substantial prizes) for the best. The map maker is fairly easy to get the hang of and IMO that is what makes the game worth buying.

Nay, It's just starcraft with new graphics, just as interesting as it was a decade ago. Not at all.

I played through it, but it was, as usual, "Just another RTS", with nothing special other than that the Campaign had some very nice variety/mask of the true objective.

I.E. A simple destroy mission with some odd twist that only attempts to hide the fact that it is just a destroy mission.

There's nothing wrong with that, but it does grow old after awhile.

Overall, I'd play it again, but I would never "Go Korean" with it.

Mattieu~~~~ It's not that eldar are bad, it's that they require a lot of intergration between units. Also, that doesnt prove anything other than GW has a huge hard-on for marines, and, given the option between making a xeno the best psykers or making a marine the best psyker, they will 9 times out of 10 choose the marine.

Got to agree on the mods and custom maps, some are well done and good fun.
