I am new to fantasy, have been playing 40K for years as Eldar mainly. I wanted to go with a different style army for fantasy. Get away from the neat, clean low unit armies. I have decided to go with Skaven and created a list based on the models in the IOB box something extra. Any advice would be helpful. Right now I am stuck with the models listed, but not necessarily with magic or items.

Warlord - Halberd, Shield, Talisman of Preservation, Storm Banner, Potion of Speed
Warlock Engineer - Level 2, Skavenbrew
Warlock Engineer - Level 1, Dispell Scroll
40 Clanrats - Shields, Standard Bearer, Clawleader, Poisoned Wind Mortar
40 Clanrats - Shields, Musician, Standard Bearer, Clawleader, Poisoned Wind Mortar
4 Rat Ogres - Master-bred Ogre, Master Moulder (Great Weapon)
Hell Pit Abomination

This leaves me with roughly 65 points. Any ideas of what I can put it, or if there is something I should take out. Again I have only played a couple of games of fantasy and am used to 40K. Also, I have, never played Skaven. I don't want an unstoppable army. I would like one that requires strategy and is a little bit hard to play.

Battle standard bearers could be very handy for skaven because of their lowly courage

Warlords can't take banners. That's the job of the BSB.

The BSB is going to be a prime target. I would heartily recommend the Armor of 4+ ward over a magic banner, to keep him alive.

Give the Stormbanner to your Stormvermin Standard Bearer... when you get them.

And, as I posted in another thread, weapon teams thrive in an environment where they never even register on the enemy's 'shoot now' list. One A-bom ain't gonna do it.

I'd go for a WLC or two instead. At least they have the longer ranges to avoid getting shot at for a while.
