Possessed Khorne Marine Covered in Spikes

I've just finished my Valkyrie that had been kicking about part-finished for the last three months!

I originally started it back in November, (Thread with some early interior pics here http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/327494.page) and never got around to finishing it.
The idea was to build and paint something similar to an Afghan war ere Mi-24 'Hind' gunship/transport helicopter. The interior is the standard Soviet cold war greeny-blue, with orange flight suits.

I wanted it to look like it had just flown through an abrasive sandstorm, with the paint chipped and worn but not corroded. I have deliberately left off the landing gear as I wanted something with a similar profile to the Hind and a 'wheels-up' look. The targetters are painted in Tamiya clear glass colours, which look deep and glossy in real life, but not so good on the pics.

Anyway, here are the pictures, they are the first gallery pictures I have posted on Dakka as it's the first model I have done that I think is good enough to hold it's own on there.
Apologies for my rubbish photography as always! The pics look much better on the gallery as you can zoom in to the fine details. (Lots of small decals on gun pods, cockpit sides etc.)

The paint scheme is very indicative of an Hind and might I say awesome.

And computers are about trying to murder you in a lake.

Neat, I always like 2 tone. Is that a 'hind' thing?

Oh,

I guess so!

Neat!
