Subject: Misceleneous heavy weapons on sentinels?

Hey folks, long time no see, I'm getting a sentinel this weekend, and don't have my codex on me currently, which gave me this question: Could I put any heavy weapon on a sentinel, such as a stubber, multi-melta, or a heavy bolter? Is there anything that disallows this?

You can only put the Heavy Weapons on that the codex allows you to. To the best of my knowledge those three that you have listed are not options for basic codex sentinels. Heavy Bolter and Multi-Melta are options for Elysian Drop Sentinels I believe.

Nope the only things you can put onto a sentinel is :
Autocannons
Heavy Flammers
missile lawnchairs
lascannons
Plasma Cannons (armoured sentinel only)

Multilasers are the best option IMO with autocannons a close second.

If you use IA rules then regular sentinels also have the option of a multiple rocket pod as their main weapon.
Drop Sentinels get Deep Strike but may only have multi-melta or heavy bolter.
