being totaly devoid of creativity i was wondering if anyone out there has ideas for fluff, lore, and the like. I was starting off with the concept of a giant space hulk essentially based around a really big astroid. Well mabey not so much a space hulk, but a sub planet astroid littered with scrap and has drawn lots of other junk into its orbit, then they pretty much put a giant rocket on one side and there you have it, an astroid space hulk. Mabey i go with this idea, maby it entierly sucks and you can suggest a new one that will kick much @$$.

Next is colors: i havent a clue, its mostly boyz, heavy infantry, and kanz, lotsa & lotsa kanz.

any other suggestions for custom units/weapons? anything you wanted to suggest? mabey just add how your day was, i just need feedback

thanks

I love fluff i dont have many ideas for the back story, maby they come from a scrap world and have a larger than normal grot population, that would explain all the kans. other than that, try red, silver/ grey, and obviously green

Claws of the Emperor 4,500 points 17 wins 5 losses

Misc Kroot army around 700 points, haven't played it yet

Warboss FlashBlitza N' hiz 'Ere We Go! boyz 5 wins 7 losses 2,000 points

They could have originated on a "trash planet" where the Imperium dumped planets full of garbage. Amongst that garbage were maybe some Orks from the lowest level of a hive, killed during a security sweep. They go on to create a massive Ork population on the trash world, rife with grots due to the necessity of scavenging and building on such a planet. They could maybe make a massive trash ship, and head off to WAAAAGH!!! on some hapless joes nearby. You could convert lots of Kans to be *extra* trash-canny (not hard ) and have the Boyz painted up dirty with random armor kit taken from IG plastic sprues.

Well you don't really have to have alot of Grots to have alot of Kans. There are usually a large number of Grots in Waaaghs anyway, the fluff even says that Grots line up to be put into one. What I would do is have your warboss attack a forgeworld orbited by an asteroid feild that's mineral heavy. After defeating the fleet protecting the planet and taking the planet itself he now uses his newfound resources to turn the massed Space debris into a Hulk to replace his destroyed ship, the asteroids into roks and to make a large number of war machines to use in continuing his Waaagh. Now Space Hulks are a conglomerate of various ships, ice, asteroids and pretty much anything that gets stuck to it so it's really not that far fetched to say that an asteroid would be the basis for a Hulk.

For colors I would paint all the metal armor bits in differant colors in differant states like the Orks just looted the metal from a bunch of differant sources (factory machinery, vehicles, ships, metal from asteroids etc) so some could be rusted, some could be covered in soot or burnt and dirty, others could be the same color as the vehicle they where taken from etc.
