So after seeing the recent Deathwatch competition (Congrats to the winner, excellent piece) I really want to do my Sternguard Veteran squad looking like them, but would really appreciate help on what 5 different chapter symbols to include in the Kill Team.
For the Sergeant, I am doing Brother Artemis of the Mortifactors Chapter.

Are there any other significant characters worth doing? If not, what chapters would look cool??

NOT doing Ultramarines (Cliched) Will do a Blood Angels one, seeing they're for a Blood angel army , doing Mortificators, and thinking of doing Iron Hands because cyborgs are cool

Make a Black Templars dude. Not only are we the most awesome chapter ever (YA RLY!) but Templars are amongst the more common members in the Deathwatch.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

Ultramarines and Crimson Fists are up there, since they each famously dealt with one race of xeno (nids and Orks respectively). Whichever marine chapters participated in the Damocles Crusade, and maybe Blood Ravens.

EDIT: Ultramarine Tyranid hunters are among the most common DW members. Although the OP voiced that he does not want ultras.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Crimson Fists seem to have a large contingent of Deathwatch Veterans.

Black Templars are always fun to paint.

Having Space Wolves have to learn to work with blood angels would be funny.

Pick any loyalist squad from the Badab Wars IA books.

Ollanius Pius - Savior of the Emperor

Gathering the Informations.

Scythes of the Emperor, Space Wolves, Dark Angels, and the various Ultras Successors all take the Deathwatch tithing pretty seriously.

Scythes of the Emperor ,for all intents and purposes, are a 'dead' Chapter which only exists to provide the Deathwatch with Astartes experienced in fighting Tyranids to a degree that is only matched by the Ultramarines.

The Red Hunters may also be a good choice, along with Raven Guard, Ironhands, etc.

Definitely going with Crimson Fists.
I HATE space wolves so much they don't even deserve capital letters..
Having a Black Templar sergeant,
Dark Angels will be cool,
I need a cyborg (Iron Hands)
And most likely Blood Angels seeing as they're in a BA army

Thanks guys!
