I just bought into the Quar game and this video put a big grin on my face.

The second rule book Songs of Our Ancestors uses a lot of CGI stills which I think may have been part of this project. That game is more skirmish level too versus the original rule set (This Quar's War) which incorporates larger formations.

Actually Songs of Our Ancestors was finished last spring and this movie was only started in December. It looks great in HD; I've been away from video games since I started spending all my money on little metal men (or anteatery-looking men, in this case) and didn't realize how far CGI had advanced in the meantime...

That was a really neat little vignette! Lots of nice details - the way the Quar hits the barricade, how he ducks from the tank, etc. Stunning job.
