Ok......

I really want to get one of the big Chaos Daemons. The Khorne one really. But have no reason to get one Haven't played APOC in ages, aren't good enough painter to justify getting it to 'display'.

Vampire Hunters are REALLY cool. Are they any good in game?

Somewhere in south-central England.

Ollanius Pius had the most super heavy nuts in the whole of 40K.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Apocalypse games usually happen every holiday at my local G.W.
practise painting makes perfect. also some times you can hire people[like me] to paint for you
please dont forget this article is devoted to everything super heavy-from 40K to Epic
photos are extremely welcome as are comments projects and tips in painting assembling and scratch building.

I have started building an Epic scale imperator titan from scratch and i will try to get some pictures posted.
i have also scratch built 2 warhounds and a (for my little brother) warlord titan as well as an ordinatus of my own desighn. All in Epic scale of course.
of course now ive got to paint them and finish the imperator

I have always wondered, fluff-wise, how many titan killa tanks are needed to bring down a titan, considering they are God-Machines and have void shields. On the other hand, Titan hunting tanks have destructive weaponry and all but they move slowly and usually only 1 or at most 2 is fielded. Wouldnt the faster moving and more agile titan shoot at them tanks first before the tanks even position themselves?

Somewhere.

I like Titans. For my last birthday, I got to scratchbuild one. This year, I aim to build a Reaver. Of course, I like the Ad Mech a bit too much...

I usualy imagine that the tanks wait for the titan to come to them
of course in assaults this may not be possible but then i imagine they are used like assault guns-they can move and shoot
if you really want to know more then i advise you search up on ww2 tank destroyer tactics. and ww2 assault gun tactics to.

Oh and by the way id say 1-2 for a scout titan and 2-3 for a warlord titan. Oh and abot 10-20 for an Emperor class titan.

Those tactics make sense. However, titans are agile, especially the smaller ones and would probably be able outmaneuver any TitanHunting superheavy. In addition, the volcano cannon takes a long time to recharge. IMHO I think it would take more than 2 to bring down a scout unless supported by a large number of regular LRBT or the like. An Emperor class titan could probably obliterate 10 super heavies with a single discharge of its weaponry (one hand) and the other 10 with its other main weapon. This is getting depressing, how to kill a titan. The fluff makes it look easy.

My advice would be to use a weapon with a high rate of fire such as a vulcan mega blaster or a punisher gatling to take out its voids.
Also massed firing of heavy weapons and even smallarms can bring down voids [but youd probably be pretty desperate to try the latter]
of course the best way would probably be to take another preferably bigger titan to counter act you opponent.
dont forget titan killing tanks like the shadow sword are cheaper to feild than titans and so you can get more for your points .
