After reading a few other army list and seeing how you guys tear them apart and resemble them so there "Better"  I was wondering what you guys think of this, very different Ulthwe list, well here it is.

The Avatar goes with the council, and the two storm guardians stay close to the council so that all 3 of them are fortuned as the all fleet up the table. The wraithlord will slowly walk up taking shot at tanks that could be a problem. The 2 guardians squads and vypers hit 2+ save units, since my hth units will have trouble taking them down, or other heavy armoured units, and the reapers take down marines, or large units so my hth units will have an easier time taking them out.

The conceal in the council is for deamon hunters and there psy. weapons. with the large numbers in my squads I think I may actually be able to make squads run with outnumbering, and can kill vehicle if i beat them in combat but don't take them out.

I like it but are you sure the guardians are worth it really?

They basically have a 4+ invul save but your also paying about 12-13pts a piece for them.

Near the price of aspects.

I've often thought of an all guardian army myself just for kicks.
Hope you do it, granted you might get bored as the army plays pretty much the same every time.

Well a STorm guardian comes up to about 10.38 points, 8 base, then the 20 points for conceal, and 80 points total for 2 fortunes, when divided between 40 guardians and 2 warlocks, you get 10.38. They are a lot more durable than aspects since banshees only have 4+ as and with a lot of ap 4 weapons out there it will hurt. They are faster and more durable than scorpions, since there save can be taken more often than not and scorpians can't fleet. They do lack power weapons of the banshees, and high strength and attacks of the scorpions per models, but with the huge amount of guardians attacking i should be able to counter those problems, and also all of my squads can take on tanks with the witchblades.

I have used a similar list to this against a buddy of mine, it was 1000 points, slightly smaller but pretty much the same idea. He played chaos, and I guess he was kinda shocked at this kind of army so he didn't really know what he was getting into. He started by shooting my big units of storm guardians, and then switched to my reapers and took them out after he found out what they could do. In the end My guardians got into combat with hit marines and with me having so many attacks he failed a bunch of saves just because he was forced to role so many dice for his saves, I also got a couple of his squads to run since I outnumber him a fair bit. I also took down his tooled up raptor squads with ease since he had so few models in the squads I was able to take them out with ease.

hmm.. maybe switch the blackguard squads to defenders? you can fire the catapults and charge without penalty.

Umm.. well you need some anti-tank. 4 walking fusion blasters and 1 bright lance on a W.Lord is not nearly enough.
