Yes, all the time, as do Kroot. Kroot and Dark Eldar are notorious mercenaries I believe, the are also Dark Eldar pirates, slavers, pretty much anything evil. But they usually demand payment in flesh/souls

Yeah, definitely. In the Eldar Codex there's a particularly amusing bit about Urien Rakarth selling his services to the Tau, and requesting in return a large payment in tau-flesh. Eventually the prices grew so steep that they requested an Ethereal, and the Tau flew into a rage and attacked the Dark Eldar, only to be ripped apart by grotesques made from their own soldiers.
Love it.

Makes you wonder if you could avoid being captured by the Dark Eldar by offering them enough of whatever they use as currency (captives?).

If they believe you will continue to deliver more than they could get without your help. Then they will demand more and more, once they start to think you may not deliver or will try to end the arrangement or they are done with their present soul harvesting soiree they will collect your ass when you least expect it.

Yup, UselessSage is probably right. Making any sort of bargain with the Dark Eldar is pretty much a death sentence... Usually, anyway. It has been proven that both types of Eldar are very mercurial and fickle, though, so it's possible that you might get lucky and the Archon you're dealing with will feel that it's more amusing to honor the bargain he's made with you.
Just.... The odds aren't good.

Well it depends on what race you are, the dark eldar themselves work with aliens like the slyth but you can only really work with them if they could use you, when your usefullness ends you die.
