I wonder why Honsou has the silver arm on this cover he did not have until much later (third Ultras novel?)?

Same reason why the Adrian Smith second covers for the Gaunt's Ghosts series give Gaunt his power sword on even the first novel. Same reason Gorgias has two eyes on the Vaults of Terra covers. Etc, etc. The artists don't necessarily read the book, and are given a description, and so long as it's not wildly off base the editors don;t check the small details.

It was included in the first post quoted. The novel is the Fall of Cadia.

I thought Fall of Cadia was a Gathering Storm sourcebook, not a novel

I might pick this up, if I'm able.
I definitely count Fire Caste and Cult of the Spiral Dawn as part of his dark coil stories, though. Probably reasonable not to include them specifically but I'm glad I've got them both already in hardcover.

Yeah, what the heck? Those books are important to the series, since characters from fire caste pop up in other stories that are included in the collection.

Makes me think of that stupid theory video from a YouTube channel that speculated on one of the mysterious characters from one of the books but they didn’t bother reading Fire Caste, which would have shown that the character wasn’t an angel/saint but a chaos worshipper…

The covers for the limited edition Peter Fehervari books seem a little basic, but they look alright.

The funny thing is, buying that signed limited edition hardcover might work out cheaper cheaper than the books in their standard versions. For some reason the prices of his stuff are just absurd with even the paperbacks going for around £30 quite often.

For some reason Black Library just don't seem to want to sell regular copies of Requiem Infernal.

They are very, very good. Already got the two novels, but I may pick this up (or try, at least!) to get the other stuff in physical form.

I really want to read both all of Peter Fehervari's novels, and Chris Wraights Vaults of Terra/Watchers of the Throne series, but they're both absurd prices for £20 - 30 each for most of them. Sometimes more.

Pre-orders are up, but at £95 I am giving that Coil collection a definite pass!
