Hello all you gits! I just seen the ork list in IA 8 and I love it!! My old list was all warbikers, and now an addition!

-Warboss Zhadsnark Da Rippa = 150
-BigMek- bike, cybork, power klaw, attack squig = 125

-5 Nob Bikers- x2 pklaw- x2 big choppa- waaagh banner-cybork
--painboy- grot orderly- cybork =435

-6 Burna boyz=90
-6 Burna boyz=90

-7 Warbikers
--1 Nob- pklaw = 235

-7 Warbikers
--1 Nob- pklaw = 235

-7 Warbikers
--1 Nob- pklaw = 235

-2 Deffkoptas- x2 TL rokkit- 1 buzzsaw
-2 Deffkoptas- x2 TL rokkit- 1 buzzsaw

-2 Warkoptas- x2 TL rattler- x2 skorcha

Total= 1975

So what do you guys think? The burna boys will go in the warkoptas. I have 25 points left over and not sure where to invest them. Any ideas?

Without having a lot of experience at 2k, I'll say this.
Most lists will shoot those Bikers apart in the first two rounds.

Hahaha not with a 3+ cover save (assuming I get the first turn)

Without AT LEAST one in every unit that can have it (Nobs should have 2 - 1 @ PK & 1 @ Big Choppa), you might as well not even unpack your models.

With your comment of the bikes surviving, what would happen if you played an IG list that ran lots of hydras?

Ahh yes, almost forgot about the bosspoles! Thanks! Why would nobz have 2 bosspoles in their unit? About the Hydra well, thats what deploying is for and making sure you setup the mob correctly. I use this tactic pretty well, I used it with my old speed freeks. Imperial is lulz.

Also, I will get the 4+ exhaust cloud for the rule under bikes. Hydra just takes the turbo boosting save away. So its all good for the bikes!

I completely forgot about the exhaust, my bad BTW what are the warkoptas? Haven't heard of them before is all

Because Nobs are small units. Usually, if you lose 1 or 2, it's time for a test. Their Ld bites. You want to have the reroll available. If you happen to have lost the lone bosspole (with wound allocation, one unfortunate roll can put him at risk), then you're S.O.L. With 2 in the unit, at least you have one to fall back on.

Also, it will allow you to better take advantage of wound allocation shenanigans. As it is, you have 2 PK nobs. Drop a pole on one of them & you no longer have to roll wounds on them as a group. Same thing on the Big Choppa Nobs.

Yeah warkoptas are flying wartruck lol. But they look way cooler and have a rattler gun ( 2d6 shots, double ones jams the gun) 24 inch range, s4 ap6. So what do y'all think of the army? Fun with capable wins noting that it wont be just setup with no tactics in mind. Plus I will be converting and painting every model to be GD worthy =D

looks fun to play and play against.

The list likely will not be competitive in a tournament, you will get shot to pieces. This can be somewhat avoided by using cover to block los. Expect difficult games in a tournament setting.

I look forward to seeing the army painted.

Who? If you wanna make up your own warboss you gotta tell us what is on it. Unless your going of an old codex or something.

Get rid of this for Wazdakka so you can make the warbikers troops choices.

Like I said, Wazdakka is a good choice for biker list since you can make these guys troops.

OK...I really do not want to back out since I already wrote this much but....is this for an apocolypes game of somekind or are you using FW special rules?

You should check out Imperial Armor 8. Its not just Apoc games, but you can use in addition to the ork codex for regular games. Warboss Zhadsnark Da Rippa is the same as Wazdakka, except he can tank shock with his bike, and has a Pklaw that strikes on Int 5 or 6 than Int 1. Also he can't shoot while turbo boosting. Warkoptas are flying wartrucks with rattler guns. 2d6 str 4 ap 6 shots, jams on a double 1's.
