Just an idea I had for a one-off scenario, suppose Fabius Bile is puttering around the lab one day and decides to implant some gene-seed into an ogryn or three? What type of stats would you use for some monstrosities like this?
Maybe they break out of a lab and the CSM are trying to recapture them or Bile set them loose on some unexpecting populace as a test? Perhaps the ogryn-marines could count as moving objectives that the combatants have to capture?

This is in the wrong board. It needs to go in You Make Da Call.

As far as Bile making "super-ogryns" I'm sure he's done it before lol.

No it's not.
This is a background question and therefore it belongs in background...
As for the OP question...
Massive mutations would probably occur but i doubt Bile cares, anything that survived would likely by built like the proverbial brick house

This could also go in proposed rule changes.

Anywho, I would say that is an interesting idea. However, fluff dictates that space marine implants must be done at an early age. Given it's Fabius Bile, we could ignore that handy generalization.

Ogryn mutants would probably be really strong Chaos Spawns or count as Chaos Spawns in game rules.

Alternately, you could say that moderately mutated Ogryn with Space Marine upgrade could benefit from a random table of effects at the cost of upgrading each "mutated" Ogyrn at a nominal cost (5 points maybe?).

Fabian Experimentation: Fabius Bile has "tinkered" with the anatomy and genetics of your average Ogryn. These abhumans turned to chaos are not only fanatical to the Ruinous powers, but are also gifted with random, enhanced attributes. For +5 points per model, any number of Chaos Ogryn can be "enhanced" by Bile's treatment. At the start of the battle, after both sides have set up but before the first turn take place, roll a D6 for each enhanced squad and consult the following table:

1. Stronger Legs- These Ogryn have been given greatly enhanced running speed, good for charging down enemies. This Chaos Ogryn unit gains Fleet and is treated as Cavalry when assaulting.

2. Thicker Bodies- The Ogryn of this squad are bulky, even by their race's standards. These Ogryn have +1 Toughness, meaning that they are immune to instant death by Strength 10 or lower weaponry, but are still susceptible to Instant Death by other means.

3. Aggression Spike- Foaming at the mouth, these Ogryn are maddened by the results of the experiment. They are Fearless, gain +1 Strength, and have the Rage universal special rule.

4. Quicker Reflexes- This Ogryn unit is unsually quick for their stature. This enhancement raises their Initiative to 4 during the turn that they charge.

5. Burning Flesh- At the slightest provocation, these Ogryn burst into flames and belch fire during battle. At the start of each owning player's turn, 1d3 Ogryn must make an armor save or suffer a wound. Once per owner's shooting phase, each Ogryn may use the following ranged attack:

Flame BreathTemplate Str 5 AP 3 Type: Assault 1

6. Ogryn Spawn- The Ogyrn of this squad are so mutated they hardly qualify as abhuman anymore. They retain a fragment of their former mind, so are less sporadic and blood thristy than regular chaos spawns. These creatures are treated as Daemons. Replace the Chaos Ogryn profile with the following and remove all weaponry and armor:

Ogryn Spawn
WS 4 BS 0 S 5 T 5 W 3 I 3 A D6 Ld 10 Sv 5+*

*This is an invulnerable save.

Special Rules:
Furious Charge
Stubborn
Bulky

Their close combat attacks count as power weapons and have rending.

I like the above rules, but I'm not sure if rending is necessary as well as the power weapon attacks, one or the other I'd say, and probably ten or fifteen points. as for the scenario idea, you could have them as moving objectives or they each have 2 wounds and once you've got rid of them, the chaos ogryn is subdued enough to be taken (reasonably) safely back to the lab, and he and the squad are removed from the board. No kp/vp are gained for the removed unit (they are merely taking it back), and the controlling player gains an objective that can't be taken off him? Just some basic rules.
