Most human souls dissolve into the warp. Pyskers are able to maintain a soul, but it is usually eaten by daemons.

This is true but i'd assume the Emperor thought to fix that after all the work he already put into the GK's. Then Again im talking about the man who let his mutant children run rampant around the Galaxy with almost zero supervision.

THEN AGAIN, the codex was just rewritten by Matt Ward so Grey Knights don't die. Their souls become so badass they leave their lame-o bodies to hang out at the cool kids table with the Emperor and smoke cigarets behind the school during lunch and neck in the parking lot and stay out after curfew and tell their parent "YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!" and have super sweet 16 parties and make out with all the cheerleaders and sit in the back of the classroom and don't ever do their homework and are really good at sports and beat up all the nerds for their lunch money and get front row seats to see international rockstar Matt Ward at the last show of the tour and then get invited backstage to hang out and drink beer with him cuzdeysoaswesum!

I am not sure about it. The Eldar says "Humans don't have that misfortune of dying like the Eldar", it seems to me that Human souls don't go to warp at all.

What it's refering to there is the Om noming By slannesh that happens if unprotected Eldar die i Belive. Hell it could even be refering to having to be stuck in the Eternity circuit forever.

I think the quote from the Eldar is "do not enjoy the ignorance that humans do for when they die." Or something as to that effect. Eldar souls are much stronger than human souls are because they are a fully psychicly developed race. There is a piece of lore that is typically labeled as propaganda, that humans after death go to bask in the radiance that is the Emperor for eternity. As to whether or not the Emperor's soul in it current state can even protect a single human soul is uncertain. *Grim Dark mystery.*

You have to separate 40k soul from traditional views of the soul. In 40k, souls are psychic impressions in the warp. They are like small bubbles in a vast ocean. Unnoticeable, quickly extinguished and never missed.

My highlighted part I feel depends greatly on weather the star child theory has any stock to its name. If the Worship is fueling some God Fires then you'd bet he's protecting/ absorbing perhaps? them.

There is an inverse relationship between the Starchild and the Emperor's body. As the Emperor fades from his body, his soul becomes stronger. As for absorbing souls, he's taking psyker souls by the ton at Costco. He's definitely getting soul power.
