I was contemplatnig methods of keeping my fire dragons safe from getting assaulted by troops piling out of poped transports.

Then i tought about the fish of fury tau lists and a mechanic they used. The problem is i dont know if it works and if it can apply to fire dragons.

So here is proposal. Drive waveserpant and make its nose point towards transport. Fire dragons exit out of back, shoot under the waveserpant, and cant be charged throught the serpant.

This ensures they can live long enough to reembark onto waveserpent. I'm not sure if this would work but it would save me escorting them or giving them up for dead.

TY

Can't beat Necrons w/ CSM?

Take 2 squads of Nurgle possesed Swooping hawks and haywire both Monoliths turn 1.

Can't fail. Then charge nightbringer with a possesed Lysander w/ MoN.

Just got to think outside the box bro.

As long as you have LOS, sure. However this can be very tricky, depending on which stem you use.

This was more applicable in 4th ed when Skimmers did not block LOS.
