Hey everyone,
Name is Odins Beard and this is my introductory post. Played WHFB for about 11 years and am just now going to get into 40k, I'm big on conversions and fluff which is pretty much my main reason for playing. I started WHFB because I love history, mythology and ancient warfare so it just seemed to fit. But I really don't like the way the game has gone so I figured it was about time to start a 40k army. My first army was/is Tomb Kings (score for the new release) but I also field Dwarfs and Wood Elves plus a small Empire Adventurer force. I've been on Dakka before when brought here by links and such but as I'm starting 40k I figured it woulden't hurt to start an account.

That's actually how I found the site a few years ago. I was looking for inspiration on a Dwarf conversion and someone here did it 
As far as the user name goes it actually isn't from The Anchor Man (great movie though) I got it from a book called the Age of Odin, it's a good book but there is a soldier in it who says "By Odins Beard and Freyas sweet  " it kinda stuck with me ever since but I'm glad you aprove
