I want to place a large order with them. But the question remains are they actually a trustworthy website that will deliver what I order, or just take what money I throw at them and keep it? Wanted to post this through DakkaDakka to see what everyone thought. Hopefully some answers can be cleared up or to a degree where some people who actually shopped on there telling their stories. Any information can help and hopefully some dakkites can clear this up for me.

I second this. I found them through a thread and I'm skeptical. It was my understanding that GW restricts 3rd party online shopping cart's.
I also have a big order and would like to see if anyone has had any experience with them.

I havent used them yet, however, a lot of "discount" wargaming sites tend to give massive deals and then are unable to fill orders due to demand. I think they are able to get X amount of supply for very cheap, perhaps from stores going out of business or something and then cannot secure additional supplies
Ive heard a lot of bad things from many of these kind of webstores. I may try them out, but I prefer to pay 5% more for 100% reliable service

Most of what they sell is from battleforces they break down. Instead of a box of tac marines, you get the squad from a battleforce in a bag. Not much difference if that's all you need. But you can't get the 35% discount on things that aren't in Battleforces or Battalions.
GW does still have the rule preventing shopping carts. It basically means that places like this eather aren't buying from GW directly, or that they have a source for GW product but it will eventually dry up when GW figures out who they are or who's selling to them.

This is good input so far, and brings to question what you would actually be receiving. Maybe I will make myself the Guinea pig and report what happens. For me as long as I get what I pay for I'm happy in the end, I heard there might be a wait if I buy through them though.

I dislike these fly-by-night sellers that crop up. Stick with a reputable seller TheWarstore.com or buy from your LGS.

I would be more than happy to support my FLGS, but:
1. They're selling above MSRP.
2. They never have the model's I want.
3. They're rude.
I order online so that I can avoid paying more than I should.

Or if you're hesitant, use Miniature Market, they're an established FLGS and offer 25% off w/ free shipping on orders over $75.
Personally, I don't think you'd have any trouble ordering from Dice Bucket, there are sellers on ebay that do the same thing and I've ordered from at least one of them with no problems.
As Mikhaila said, they break down the battleforce boxes and sell at a higher discount because of the boxes already have a considerable savings attached to them.

I took a chance and ordered 3 stormravens from them awhile ago. They arrived promptly and the prices were as listed. They didn't put any extra packing in the box though and one of the boxes was kinda munched but fortunately the sprues weren't damaged. I'd buy from them again. The only other thing I thought was less than ideal was that the package tracking leaves something to be desired as it doesn't give progress updates.. just straight from shipped to arrived, though to be fair they warn of that in their emails.
Hope this helps

Mike is right, but I looked at them and they are not in the U.S so the whole webstore shopping cart only applies here in GW North America. There are several retailers here on dakka that I am sure you could contact, and deal with through. Myself, and mike just too name a few. That way you are able to stay in contact much easier.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House! |

My experience with Dicebucket was somewhat shaky. I took the plunge and ordered around $400 worth of Beastmen. The cart charged the full amount. I inquired a few days later asking how my order was going and they stated they could only fill about 10% of my order.
I thought that's fine, you know, just order the rest and send it to me when it arrives. But no...they refunded me the rest (Took a week for the refund...) and when the product did arrive, the boxes had holes in them and some were even crushed.
So instead I took my money to the Warstore. Their service is amazing, I should have placed my order with them from the start. They didn't have ALL of the things I needed at first, but just as I wanted they took full payment and sent me the rest of the order when they received.

Oh that sucks, I love my FLGS, they will order anything I ask them to, plus they give a 15% discount from MSRP to Military Service Members .
The first Time I went in there I walked out after looking around and on my way out they asked me if I couldn't find anything to interest me, I told them they didn't have much of a selection for Tau.
I came in a week later with a few of my buddies and I found that they had at least one of every item for the Tau Empire. Heck they even had Vespid....like anyone actually buys them.

My store will order anything I want as well, but like I said, they jack the MSRP up.
I like the primer that they sell (Army Painter brand) and I can't find it at any other Hobby shop in my area, but it hits the wallet really hard to spend $10+ on a can of it because they're marking it up so high.

It's $10 at your store? It's $15 at mine.

Yeah, that's what I use since Army Painter's so high. What color's best for Ultramarines? I'm lazy and just want to base them in blue and then do detail with a wash later.

Honestly, I pulled the $10 price out of my @$$. I'm so tired from working 80+ hour weeks that I really shouldn't be posting on a forum.
All I know is that 5 pots of paint (P3), 1 pot of GW foundation and a can of Army Painter Angel Green ran me around $50. The store is notorious for jacking the price up.

I have ordererd things from Dicebucket several times. I have never had an issue. If you order things from the Sprues and Bits section of their website you get everything you would normally get (bases, transfers, models, and instructions) just without the box.

You need to PM me the name of this store as I'm in your area so I know to avoid them. You should never have to pay more than MSRP. As for me I split my money between the local GW that is about 15 min from me (there are two more almost just as close) and The Warstore for big orders and non GW stuff since the closest indie stores are Little Wars (not a lot of GW, big FoW following) and Asgard Games (Decent place, but too far to be practical)
I have heard positive things about Sci-Fi Genre (Who I believe also sell through Amazon) and The Broken Forge run by Phil formally of 40K Radio and now The Warbanner.

I've ordered several items from dice bucket, two sentinals, a manticore, and a box of wyches. All the price that they listed on their site, Everything was with it, no damage either. It took about two weeks to get to me, while i would have liked it sooner, that still got it to me, the day of my wifes birthday, so i could give the wyches to her.
