Greetings children of the warp,
This weblog documents the progress of Legio Corpus Syphili, Deathguard of Slaanesh, my
40K army.
I will post the background fluff to my army in full later. To summarize for now,
LCS is a united chapter of Plague Marines and Noise Marines, with accompanying Daemons, who swear allegiance to both Nurgle and Slaanesh. This is glorified through the worship of a venereal disease found in the warp, one which they deem sacred. Through mass contagion of this STI amongst the human populace, they retain their loyal followers and achieve the primary goal -- propagation of the Corpus Syphili, the ultimate reflection of both Greater Daemons.
Up first, to get started quickly, is Nagrott, Daemon Prince of Nurgle.
I incorporated some Slaaneshy Purples into his cloak and wings, but no actual pinks.
Now, pulled from a prior thread, is my Slaanesh Vindicator:
this tank was primered white and then painted black, which took a long while, something I would not do again. The resulting pink, however, was effective for what I was going for.
I am inspired to modify the pink with some purple washes followed to create a less artificial look. This will be followed with highlighted pink and white swirled designs, to get a more subtle and artistic effect. Thus far it is simply P3 Pink with various pink and white highlights over white primer. My main attempt was stark contrast.
The "Feedback Cannon", as I call it, is converted by simply purchasing a small speaker cover at Radio Shack and gluing in on the end of the weapon. When this blast of focused audible death lands on unsuspecting troops, their loosened bowls often hurl into the air, showering those unfortunate enough to survive with intestine, colon, bloody fecal matter and eye fluids. All that remain is splintered bone and gore.

my last shot of this tank, until I subdue the pink.
note: these are all very old pix, with an outdated camera phone. But You've seen this one before, and I wanted to get the ball rolling ASAP.
