Hey, i have started my own space wolves army recently (my first army in warhammer) i have got a few basic squads for the army and my freind has got me a unit called Grimnar, he looks pritty bad-ass but i wanted for its pose and weapons to be different the usual model and i was wondering if it would still be legal to use if i scrapped the axe of morkai and gun and replace them with a pair of terminator lightning claws?

I don't have a modern rulebook and too be honest i have little knowledge in warhammer in general.

If your opponent knows then it should be fine but you won't be able to play tournaments.
If you scrapped the axe but kept the gun it would be a better trade-off.

In most games you would have to use him as a standard Wolf Lord instead of Grimnar.

It depends on whether you are gonna play him as Grimnar with all his wargear, just looking different, or if you are gonna just use the model as it looks good.
