Hi I am starting a Grey knight army and making a list with the army book is starting to be troublesome, I was wondering what makes a grey knight army work well as I haven't seen anyone at my local store play with this army.

I am not looking for anyone to post any lists of their own at all, just looking for someone to say what army builds works best for them or a link to a source of tactics for GK's. Anyway post if you can help.

According to your sig you are already playing a superior elite force. Get more Space Wolves and forget the grey knights.

If you look at jv2's battle reports in that forum (he recently sent space wolves packing) you can see he has a very effective army based around Crowe, purifiers and dreadnoughts (both venerable and ordinary).

But there are a variety of builds that are at least reasonably effective. It's probably best to think what models/units appeal to you most and then work out a strategy and build based on that.

You seriously need to max out your psycannons in every squad. they are a godly weapon.

And id trade the redeemer for some razorbacks with assault cannons and paybolt ammo.

If you can get any autocannon dreads they will be a big help as well.

King's of war-Elves 2000pts
Dystopian wars-Prussians 2500pts
GK 1750pts
