After lurking here on dakka for the past couple of months I've finally decided to make an ongoing blog of my ork army! Mostly to get it built/painted faster and hopefully get tips from all of you out there on looting wagons and all that good stuff.
I've already started on my army but here's what arrived in the mail last week from dicebucket.com
They have great prices even after GW's recent price increase!

(In the white paper bag is 2 ork boyz box sprues and 1 trukk sprue)

This is what I brought into my FLGS Saturday for an escalation league that started at 600 points. I managed to get 1 win and 1 draw. Mostly cause of *REALLY* lucky dice
I would love to hear what you all have to say about my orks because I am a beginner with all this and could use LOTS of tips for modeling/painting.
So without further ado

First Trukkboyz mob almost done, all that's left is small details and eyes.

Update!
Been real slow lately working on my orks but I do have some stuff to show!
Picked up an airbrush and compressor from amazon and just started using it recently. Basecoated my battlewagon with it and gonna start on my nob bikers I mocked up later on today.

I think this is my favorite part of the model :p

More to come soon

Good looking so far! I think they could use a wash to make the details show a bit better. I would recommend not to go for too much of highlighting on the regular boys, after all you are probably going to paint a lot of them!
