Going by the other WWII thread:
Ok, lets assume its pre 1941. Germany and the USSR have just divided up Poland. Japan is in China and IndoChina but the Great Oops on their part didn't occur.
Lets also assume Britain and France agree to let Poland go by by.
Is it practical for Germany and the USSR to ally and invade the USA in any period between 1941 and 1950? If so, how?
-what would the other powers do, if anything?
-what would Japan do, if anything, seeing their old enemy with intentions in the Pacific?
-what would the USA do in the interveneing time before FDR reads the "open only in case we're attacked by Nazis" letter written by Washington, which uncovers the key to open the seven seals to release Frazzled and Dachshundkrieg upon the world, as was foretold by Nostradamus?

In 1956, Hitlerbot 3000 in collusion with Stalinbot 3000, Hirohitobot 3000 and Mussolini (Italy is too technologically inept to robotify their dictator) launch an invasion of the US spearheaded by advanced German tilt rotor aircraft carrying Skorzeny class super soldiers. The invasion by the four axis powers falls apart before it begins due to technical difficulties in the tilt rotor aircraft and German over engineering that required the planes to be completely disassembled by highly specialized technicians using equipment only available in German factories to replace the faulty parts.
The Japanese and Russians go ahead with the plan anyway, but Japanese soldiers are weighed down by their new 7 1/2 ft long Arisaka Type50 rifles and easily stopped by the Americans due to their embarrassingly outdated tanks. In the years prior to the invasion Stalinbot 3000 had executed all officers that weren't "yesmen" resulting in a poorly organized and led army that floundered without the other Axis powers.
Italian generals had originally planned to bring up the rear but decided to go home about 20 mins into the landings.

Actually the Italians stopped to grab an expresso, saw this cute girl in sunglasses in a hot ferrari and wait what were we talking about?

Is it practical for Germany and the USSR to ally and invade the USA in any period between 1941 and 1950? If so, how? It is neither practical or desirable. That's a jolly big ocean to cross and for what gain?
What would the other powers do, if anything? What do they do about Germany and the Soviet Union not attacking the US? Not a great deal.
What would Japan do, if anything, seeing their old enemy with intentions in the Pacific? That could be interesting, if short. Japan could involve itself against the Soviet Union. Japan may do well at sea for a while but the land war will decide the outcome. Japan loses it's new empire, if it's lucky.
What would the USA do in the interveneing time before FDR reads the "open only in case we're attacked by Nazis" letter written by Washington, which uncovers the key to open the seven seals to release Frazzled and Dachshundkrieg upon the world, as was foretold by Nostradamus? Stir the pot.

No, neither Germany or the USSR posess the naval power, or transport capability to defeat the US Navy, and then land and supply their own invasion force. The only mildly realistic way they could acquire that naval power would be if Germany had managed to capture (intact!) the entirety of both the Royal Navy and the French Navy, and got their crews to work with him.
Even then the combined Russo-German alliance would only have a few years of superiority before the United State's industrial capacity creates a greater fleet.
-what would the other powers do, if anything?
If the Russo-German alliance can threaten America, they'd be more than powerful enough to silence any of the EUropean powers. If they tried to ally with the US, they'd be crushed.
-what would Japan do, if anything, seeing their old enemy with intentions in the Pacific?
Japan has no interest in invading the United States, and would likely take advantage of the US's distraction to reinforce their defenses in the Pacific, and likely along the northern frontier as well.

Build ships, planes, tanks and guns like the dickens. Draft ever human being of working age and have them do SOMETHING. Too old to be on the front lines? Welcome to the logistics department.

I can see no reason for the soviet union to invade the US with Germany, let alone the fact that the two countries hated each other (as in really hated each other) the soviet union would have no practical gains. the USSR's primary interest in Europe at the time was the destruction of Nazi Germany and the defence of Russia. simply put, no it could never happen.

Japan would do sweet FA except pillage China some more. They'd be able to get the oil from Siberia assuming the Tripartite Pact had become the Quadpartite pact. They possibly would've done some mopping up of the British in Asia, but there wouldn't have been an attack on the US and A. Maybe attack Coober Pedy to get some of them precious stones.
