Hi all,

Finally got around to taking pictures of my old Crimson Fists army so I can put them up for sale. I figured I'd post a few models here for feedback/tips, especially on the photography--this is my first attempt at taking pix of my minis.

I did a whole (mostly) mounted company of these guys. These pics are a lot of the HQ and some random stuff.

I just recently got back into painting (just started a Charcharadon army) but I'm not at the same level I was when I did these guys.

Nice the tech marine looks especially good the colors work well together.

is it just the light or are they all gloss varnished?


They look really nice. I'm in the process of selling my Fists as well.

They actually are all glossed--anything that's not power armored is then dulcoted--faces, ammo packs, etc. I know that's a pretty controversial move, but I really saw these guys as a very polished, clean, Orthodox Imperial chapter--this was before the fluff started to include the whole Rynn's World debacle--that would have made me dirty them up. Anyway, I did these with successive glazes over hard highlights for depth (which doesn't really show in the pics) and the gloss looked better on my test marines so I just went with it....

I love that tech marine, really great work.
