hey all i was wondering what the deal is with the Blood Chalice, it says in the BA codex that all friendly units with 6" are subject to the Furious Charge and Feel no pain special rules, my question is does this affect special/Independent characters such as Dante, the sanguinor or Astorath???? as a friend of mine i game with says they aren't affected

Yes, special and Independent characters are affected.

ICs are units. So are SCs.

well it says 'all friendly units'......
so yes, all friendly units benefit from the effects.

Your mate might be a bit confused and think something is a "unit" only if there's more than one. But that's not so - page 3 of the main rules tells us that while a unit is often several guys it can also be a single tank, powerful hero or such.

yes they are. Also, remember that if they launch an assault and the point of origin of the assault (where the unit was before launching the assault) is 6'' away froma priest, you get FNP and furious charge for this assault.

A well placed priest can give FNP and furious charge to a good part of your army before an assault that way

Wrong. You need to be within 6" of the priest when resolving attacks.

didn't knew that, i'm not palying BA, I was basing myself on my freind that is against which I paly often. Little bastard was cheating, lol. Just pointed it out to him, this will make the job of my boyz easier!!
