That was actually really helpful.

I'll definitely be using this in the future!

So why do you say not to use wax paper? I would like to know..I have been doing it with wax paper for some time.

wax papers usually aren't water-permeable. the sillicone-coated parchments are. You want the water to be able to wick up from the reservoir, but the pigment to stay on the paper.

I've used wax paper for wet palettes, and it's kept the paint moist for over 24 hours, even without a lid. At least, that's my experience.

Yes, on closer inspection, I found out that the paper I had used was silicone coated. Not wax-coated. My bad. soz.

Two questions...
1) Why is the one minute tip more than a minute and-a-half? haha
2) What's with the silly accent? also haha

Nice tip, though. This should be very helpful. Thanks for sharing.

Not sure what you mean. It was a good tutorial. I thought I was pretty clear about that sentiment with the last line of my post. Do I need to add some Orky emoticons to show that I was asking those questions in a humorous way? Nevermind. I guess I should. Edit button, here I come!

Wet Pallets are awesome... this little video is nice too, I hope it gets more people using them.

I would also recommend using a larger, but more shallow tupperware when you make your own. It will give you more space to mix and also be less restricting.

I also started using Sham-Wow towels instead of paper towels. They are so cheap and you can cut them to the perfect size and never worry about replacement.

Over two minutes actually. I wondered about that as well.

I think he was imitating some "how to" tutorial video. At least that's what it sounded like to me. I liked it. Thought it was funny.

Me too. I also do that when talking to people. silly, exaggerated accents are fun.
I was giving the benefit of the doubt to the length of the tutorial. I only counted from when he actually started the content, rather than the intro and other stuff.
