Ok, quick question I want to start a high elves army but I like the look of the Mantic models and I want to be cheaper too. So my question is could I use the models mantic makes in my army or is it on the wrong scale to be use along side GW models?
Thanks

They are MUCH skinnier than the GW ones so they would look awkward if you were mixing the 2 brands.
That being said, same scale, and you wouldn't be allowed to use them at a GW store.

Ok, if I was just us mantic models would I be able to use all the unit options in the army book without too much converting.
Using them in GW store does not matter never have gone to them never will.

I have no idea what the full mantic range is so I can't say how much converting would be involved.

Ok checked their range only thing I notice is that time I will have to convert is make phoenix guard. Would it look fine if I used the chariots from GW put use mantic models for the crew?

GW chariots with mantic crew should look okay. You might want to look at this thread about this guy's army, where he's used the mantic elves and a few GW models to make a warhammer high elf army (eagles are from gamezone): http://manticfanatics.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,179.0.html They look really good, I think. The charioteers are just the regular GW ones, so as you can see, the scale isn't that different, it's only really the weapons, heads and hands where the GW models are massively bigger.

I definitely need to get me those eagles.
While I understand wanting to build armies on the cheap, the mantic models are still too skinny for my taste.
That being said, if you look hard enough on sites like bartertown and ebay you can easily make armies for 30% off.
