like it says in the title, im slighty confused about rohan riders, because the basic wargear is (weapons wise) hand weapon, sheild and bow. so because they have the bow does that mean that count towards the 33% ranged limit, or because they have both dont count?

good question but i would say they probably do because many good units with a bow also have a hand weapon, e.g minas tirith and rohan warriors.
If i'm right then thats actually a bit inconvinient because i don't think you can choose whether a rider has a bow or not, they just do

what my other half usually does (as she plays rohan) is only use the models shown with bows as having bows for the purpose of the 33% limit - but the joys of the riders of rohan is they still can use their shields in cc as, hey its in their wargear

oh and yeah they can also use their hand weapons as well - its not like the high elves they won't get the penalties in combat
