Couple of new units for Relics are up for pre order:

http://www.torgaming.co.uk/rd/relics-new-releases/
August the 31st sees the first new squad reinforcements for both the Britanans and Orcnar that aren't available in their starter sets!!

For the Britanans, we have the Marksmen!

Priced at £5.90 for two, these boys are the elite sneaky buggers of the Britanan force. Ranging out ahead of the main force, knocking out high priority targets, who the hell wouldn't want a couple of these in their force???

For the Orcnar, we have the Grymman!

Priced at £5.90 for three, these little chaps are bringing some much needed range capability to the Orcnar force. Screaming at the tops of their voices, Maaj uses are especially at danger of these primate like Orcnars!

Must look to getting the funds for a Britanan army soon.

Be a very nice change from GW minis

Armies | Space Marines (Void Knights - Own Chapter), Space Wolves & Dark Angels | Imperial Guard Cadian and Kasrikin | Grey Knight/Sisters/Inquisitors | Empire - Hochland | Britanan (Relics) | Mordor & Gondor |

Hello, although I'm a static Zero.
I'm fighting all your wars.

Warning: These miniatures contain lead and should not be chewed or swallowed.

These Miniatures may well be miscast...

Ditto

Hoping to get some soon. Trying to get a few outstanding projects out of the way.

Loving the snipers. Was wondering if might be possible to make the barrel a little longer and maybe have a special button for a telescopic eye.

Vik, you could buy Mrs Von Domm some Vaettir as a peace offering!

The number of small niche miniatures companies that could only appeal to 9 year olds boggles my mind.

i think some of us might be nine year olds but me definatly not and i know many that are too grown up but still have enough of a child in them (me too thanks the lords) that i can apreciate minis that have a different taste to them as the old over done bulky space soldier...and for that matter the scantly dressed female hero/victim/decoration...
at chibi... if push came to shove my wife probably would go for britanans... as the fairy minis are not here style... to tell the truth they frighten even me^^

Puppeteer Bruce and Lieutenant Wayne exchanged a worried look as they caught sight of the strange objects ahead of them. They were like round obelisks constructed from a substance that was neither stone nor metal and their design was totally unlike anything that either of the Britanan veterans had ever seen before.

As they cautiously approached the constructs it became clear to Bruce that the objects were not as solid as they had first seemed and were in fact hollow, as he placed his hands upon them he felt the presence of life inside and recoiled in horror as he felt the hunger of the creatures hidden within. Of the three “things” he sensed with two of them that the creatures inside meant to do him and his companions harm while the beings inside the remaining one emanated a much friendlier aura and he felt safest stood next it.

Bruce was truly baffled as to what the things could be and he turned to Lieutenant Wayne as he quickly devised a plan in his head.

“Wayne I need you to fall back and return here with the Arcanum, the King needs to see this for himself!”

Wayne detected the urgency in his voice and nodded before hastily doubling back to where the rest of the force was stationed. He returned after a short while accompanied by a trio of sinister looking Arcanum Guards.

Bruce rushed forward upon seeing them and addressed the group. “Right then lads, I think you all know what needs to be done here. Get as many different angles on these things as possible and get the images sent to his majesty at once!”

Instantly the Arcanum began circling the objects and the light in their eyes told Bruce and Wayne that the images were indeed being sent to the king right before their eyes.

“What do we do know?” asked Wayne innocently.

“What do we do now? We wait here until we’re bloody well told otherwise! Idiot!”

Meanwhile in Britana, King Jorje’s eyes widened in disbelief as the existence of these strange new creations became known to him…

It seems a scouting party of the mad King has come across something new and unseen on their journeys

Well, it looks like there may well be new starter packaging will be complete and on their way to shops

My toy soldiers are way more mature than your toy soldiers!

Those starter packs though... uh, interesting choice of packaging.

I have nothing to say apart from this:

Although maybe I should add that I really like the packaging!

They can even use it in marketing:

Relics Army In a Can! Now your models can stay fresh for decades! Nuclear apocalypse? No problem! With Relics Army In A Can, you're all set for gaming in your underground bunker! As an added bonus, you can serrate the lid after removing it! Makes a great weapon for fighting hordes of irradiated zombie mutants!

The scawy Faerie cavalry look like they are sticking to tradition and arriving just in time:

The more I see these the more I like
Hopefully they will give those pesky Britanans a jolly good thrashing!
